My dear Mde Schwimmer

I have just arrived in Vienna and have heard for the first time that there is some doubt in regard to your coming to the Congress. I hope very much that your health will permit you to come and that we shall have the benefit of your enthusiasm and long experience in our mutual undertaking in organizing women of like mind in a "Weltliga."

Won't you please reconsider and come? I am getting off this letter very hurriedly but am always with genuine friendship, sincerely yours Jane Addams.
