Dear Lady
We had a fine annual meeting and I was so happy to see Miss Cheever and your sister.
Miss Nichols has two Japanese women in tow and two Mexicans -- one of each nationality is in Europe now. I have taken the privilege of appointing them "delegates at large" so that they may have some standing at the Congress. Do you think that this is all right?
I am getting off the [enclosed] at once as you may be able to use the addresses in Constantinople. Always devotedly yours

P.S.
Please write me in what shape you would advise me to bring the money -- i. e. in case we get the $10,000.00.
Would you like me to send over a hundred or more books on one theme, or is there better use for them in the U.S.A.
My friend Mary Smith is so much of an invalid that I think we would better stay at [a?] hotel in Geneva. Could you secure us rooms at a good one in Geneva -- not too far from the Maison Internationale. I will write the date very soon.
