My dear Mr Kellogg

I think that Mrs Spencer is right and that a more workable estimate could be made later. It is all very transitional now of course. Mr Mussey would be the best person to do it now, but he has not been [inside?] the old [illegible] as Mrs Spencer has been and I should advise waiting. However I will tackle Mr. Mussey if I hear from you that you want me to. 

The book languishes but I might add a chapter or two if you want to look them over.
