Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.
My dear Miss Addams:
I received a letter from Professor Henderson the other day, and he said that he thinks it would be extremely unwise to attempt to hold a meeting before the election is over. I suppose he would have no objection to it being held the first Saturday in November, since the election excitement will probably have died down a good deal by that time. However, I will leave that matter entirely in your hands. This also gives us more time for preparing the program and getting such printing out as is necessary.
I shall await your further instructions.
Sincerely yours,
