My dear Mrs White
Mr Elderkin said yesterday that you are planning to leave this region next week.
Mary Smith is better but still so much of an invalid that long drives are prohibited.
May we therefore ask the White family to be good enough to do the driving and urge you all to come here some day before you leave, either for lunch or dinner, as may be most convenient for you. We are always here and would only need a telephone notice.
Hoping I am not pressuring upon your kindness and with cordial greetings to Mr White & your son & daughter.
I am faithfully yours
