My dear Mrs Rich

I haven't found any letters here but I assume that all is going well at H.H.

I have asked Mr Byron to send me word of the accounts [etc.] but I should be very grateful for more.

I do hope that the scrub lady has turned up & that there is not too much confusion with the cleaning.

Eleanor left last evening and I already feel settled down into [a] [page 2] routine of which Mary's massage is the [center].

I had a charming visit in Kansas in spite of the heat, but it is very nice to strike the cool weather here.

With sincere appreciation of your very great help this summer and with love to Mr Rich and family in which Mary joins, I am devotedly yours
