Dear Miss Addams,

I have several old letters from you all very welcome and more or less completely dealt with at the time, but I fear never properly acknowledged and answered. I think perhaps the only ↑unanswered↓ question raised by them is your suggestion of letting the Associate Membership fee cover two years. This proposal was considered and negatived by the Executive Committee. If it ↑the membership↓ is valid for 12 months from date ↑of signing↓ will it not do?

I am anxious for news of the autumn meeting of the American section ↑and am always yours as you know↓
