AMERICAN RELIEF COMMITTEE FOR GERMAN CHILDREN
261 Madison Avenue, New York

February 19th, 1920.

Mr. W. J. McGuire,
713 North Monroe Street,
Peoria, Ills.

Dear Sir:

I have your letter of February 13th addressed to Mr. James Speyer with reference to doing work for this Committee. At present we are not employing anyone as an outside solicitor. However, if you are in Chicago, I would suggest that you call on Miss Jane [Addams], Hull House, and see if she can use you in any capacity.

Very truly yours,

John B. Creighton [signed]
Ex. Sec'y.
