Dear Miss Addams:
Mr. DeForest has called a brief business meeting of the Board of Survey Associates for four o’clock either Wednesday, May 12, or Thursday, May 13, at the Survey offices. Will you let me know which will be more convenient.
The immediate purpose of the meeting is to take action on the recommendation on the change of price from $4 to $5 -- a matter which we have canvassed pretty thoroughly and the need for which is put in the enclosed letter from Mr. Brown, editor of The Editor and Publisher, one of the leading publications in the publishing field.
Our thought is to bring up also at this brief meeting two or three major matters with respect to fall developments for consideration at an extended meeting within the next month, at some date that will be mutually convenient to the members of the Board.
Sincerely,
