Biographical Text

Joseph Bingham Riddle was a probation officer in Cook County who taught boys' classes at Hull-House and was in charge of the Hull-House's Boy's Club. Because of his experience at Hull-House, he was later offered the position of the secretary and general manager of the Kalamazoo Boys' Home, which he accepted.

Riddle married Edith Ward in 1906. They had four children together. Riddle died in 1964.
