24 April, 1919
Dear Manley,
Jane Addams has asked me to leave a note for you inviting you to dinner [tomorrow] evening, April 25, at seven o'clock at the Hotel Continental. Will you please let her know there, Room 405, if you expect to be able to go?
I was so very sorry circumstances prevented our having tea together the other day, but quite appreciated the trials of a busy and important member of the P. C. Things are looking up today?
Do drop over again, when the Great ones leave you in peace.
Sincerely yours,
Mary Ross Gannett [signed]
