December 18th, 1918
My dear Mrs. Dodd:
I hope very much that Professor Dodd and yourself will come to our Christmas concert, next Sunday afternoon, December twenty-second, at four o'clock, and that you will consent to take supper with us afterwards. The Christmas concert has been given every year almost since the foundation of Hull-House and is, I think, one of the best things we do. Mr. Charles Hutchinson and other of the trustees always carve the Christmas turkeys afterwards in solemn fashion.
Hoping you and your husband will be able to come, I am
