My dear Miss Addams,

I have a deep concern on my heart to reach the Mothers of the World & the would be Mothers, to get up a massive petition to present to their respective governments for this dreadful slaughter of their sons to stop, in the name of Christ & humanity.

Will you help in this movement? I am going to have such a circular printed today & devote my time & strength & what money I have, ↑to↓ getting it before our broken hearted Mothers, [page 2] [illegible line] get together, [illegible] Mothers [illegible] save our sons.

Any suggestions that will make this effectual, will be more than appreciated by the Mothers.

It is a tremendous work but we must put our shoulders to the wheel. You know when the female of any of the species has her young attacked, she is the most deadly & we must get together & kill this war spirit to protect our young.

Very sincerely yours,

Sarah S. Farley
