Miss Eleanor Daggett Karsten

Chicago, Illinois

Dear Miss Karsten,

Please thank Miss Addams for her permission to use her name on my campaign letterhead and thank her also for her good wishes which are invaluable to me.

I think she had a very important part in winning our suffrage campaign in Nevada as she made a great impression in the meetings she addressed in Elko and Reno. Will you ask Miss Addams if it would be possible for her to give a week or ten ↑five↓ days to campaigning in Nevada in September or October, October preferably? Mr. Frank Walsh, Dudley Field Malone and Mrs. Charlotte Perkins Gilman are among the people who will campaign for me.

Hoping to hear from you soon about this matter so that we can make our plans, believe me,

Very sincerely yours,
