Dear Miss Addams:

I am enclosing my reply to the letter from Miss Janie Battle Jones to you, and I am returning her MS. to her. I am also sending her some Bulletins now being issued by the U.S. Employment Service, and I am sending some of the same to you under another cover.

Her idea was not a bad one, but the method used by the Department of Labor with the Post Office Department is much more complete and must accomplish a great deal more than her method could.

I am so glad to hear from Mrs. Karsten that you have come back from the Coast in such good condition.

I wonder if you have at all decided time and place for our Delegation and Board meetings in June. I have some other plans that have to be worked out, so I shall be glad to know when decisions are made, though I am not writing for the purpose of hurrying them.

Matters are going pretty well here. The Leg. Com. is working on its job, though we may not seem to have much to report at present.

Faithfully yours,

Alice Thacher Post [signed]
