Jane Addams to Emily M. Herey Denison, November 23, 1915

Chicago, Ill., Nov. 23, 1915.

Mrs. James Floyd Denison,
Chairman, Woman's Peace Party for Montana:

For the sake of anxious mothers dreading that their sons may be added to the 10,000,000 already killed or crippled in this war you strengthen the appeal to be made next Friday by Ethel Snowden of England and [Rosika] Schwimmer of Hungary to President Wilson by telegraphing him at Washington immediately urging a conference of neutral nations dedicated to finding a just settlement of this war.
