Dear Miss Addams:
Y'r reprint from the City Club Bulletin, just rec'd, is splendid. It just exactly takes the positions I have so wanted to have made clear -- especially in regard to the whole practical shaping up of internationalism as an adventure just before us, to which war is a hindrance, but with a proper [thought] of purposes & the control of emotional partisanship, [page 2] not an insuperable hindrance.
It exactly & finely says what needed to be said. I only wish it had gone into the Atlantic.
At this moment I am more personally grateful to you than I have ever been before.
Faithfully y'rs,
Alice Thacher Post
