My dear Miss Doty:

Miss Addams has asked me to write to you and say that she does not quite like to send the message you suggest to Fraulein Heymann. She is going over to Holland soon herself and may want to get a pass-port for herself and feels that it would, perhaps, be wiser for her not to send the message at this time. She might find it much more difficult later when she wishes to go to Holland in the Spring to make arrangements to do so.

Sincerely yours,

Office Secretary

Miss Madeleine Z. Doty,
83 Washington Place,
New York City.
