22 December, 1916.
My dear Miss Breckinridge:
I am enclosing a statement of the finances of the two meetings here, and a check for the balance between the debit of the one and the credit of the other. I am glad that the check is for a larger amount than the check you sent me in advance to cover the [theater] charge.
I am also enclosing Miss Needham's statement in re dinner tickets; four receipted printing bills, and hotel dinner bill receipted, and if desired I [word obscured by ink blot] send you my cancelled checks for other large payments.
I also enclose a letter from Miss Needham to you, with a check of hers enclosed.
And lastly, I am enclosing my own check for $11.00, one dollar of which is for my annual dues to the National Woman's Peace Party, and the other ten dollars is in payment of my pledge at the Belasco.
Oh, I am also enclosing a carbon of a letter I have just written Miss Addams.
Didn't we have good meetings!
