My dear Mrs. Thompson:
A circular letter was recently received at Hull-House addressed to Miss Addams with a request that she fill out the enclosed cards and send them to her Congressman.
As this request must be started within a week it is not possible to forward it in time to reach Miss Addams at Bar Harbor early enough so that she can comply with this request, and I am, therefore, keeping this letter on file in our office.
As these cards cannot be used by Miss Addams, I am taking the liberty of filling them out and sending them in myself.
Sincerely yours,
Office Secretary
Mrs. Harriet Stokes Thompson,
4160 West Jackson Boulevard,
Chicago, Illinois.
