May I thank you  most sincerely for your very generous contribution to our Christmas fund as well as for the very kind note which came with it.  It is always difficult to stay one's hand at Christmas and we are most grateful for help at this particular time.  I am sure you know that the wedding was a great pleasure and honor for Hull-House and that we [page 2] only regret that are lost too such good residents.
