My dear Mrs. Lloyd:
Mrs. Holt had already suggested Mr. J. E. Jones as publicity agent and I spoke to her again about him last night, giving your backing. I am sure the Committee is on the road to organization and will be of great advantage.
I am returning the typewritten sheet. The whole thing is, of course, very difficult for me to follow. I suppose it would be impossible not to have a great deal of jarring under the change in business management and I can only hope that everything will come out well in the end.
<Please come to see me again soon.>
Always faithfully yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
Mrs. Lola Maverick Lloyd
