I am today sending you by mail a book entitled, The Remedy, which is a text book of this organization, one purpose of which is to promote permanent peace of the world.
I see that you expect to sail for Europe with Mr. Ford and I want to ask you to take this book with you and read it on the trip. I hope you will have read it before reaching Europe and that after you have done so, you will discuss it with Mr. Ford and others of your party. The committee would like to have you consent to be one of our committee and when you are advised we will be glad to hear from you.
